Marc Hansen is a partner of Latham & Watkins practising out of the Brussels and London offices. He practices European Union law, in particular in the areas of competition and trade law. Mr Hansen has a broad-based competition law practice in which he has represented steel and chemical industries in cartel investigations, brought complaints for and defended several of the leading European broadcasters and media companies in investigations under Articles 81 and 82, advised leading IT companies on the relationship between intellectual property and antitrust law, and represented recipients and complainants in State aid proceedings before the Commission and the European Courts, in particular in the transport and energy sectors. Mr Hansen is a regular speaker and contributor on antitrust and State aid issues.
